I am currently working toward a method of sharing and distributing my media completely independently through a subscription program and Plex. Plex is a free media streaming service that allows me to host my own music and videos on my own network architecture, and share them with anyone I give permission.

 

  My singles and free content will still be available on all the social and streaming platforms, and new content will continue to be produced for those channels. However, the vast majority of my library will only be available via my Plex server and physical media. ​

  I am setting out to discover a system that other independent artists could follow, where they cannot be manipulated or exploited by large corporations in order to serve their own audiences. This requires a lot of preparation and planning to find an ideal system that would be most convenient for a listener, but also less costly than the amount taken by streaming services and other third party retailers.
